Fine cutting
Fine cutting technology allows several operations to be carried out in one press stroke, thus saving multiple machining operations.
Thanks to our advanced tools, it allows us to maintain the precise geometry of the parts, and to obtain smooth slices, without bursting or tearing on metal thicknesses up to 14mm. We work on various materials:
- Steel
- Stainless steel
- Aluminum
- Bronze
- Pure iron
- Brass
Our site is able to offer very large series production.
Tools
At PCI, tooling is at the heart of our expertise in fine cutting and mass production. We design and operate a wide range of tools adapted to the requirements of the industry:
Fine cutting tools for extreme precision on parts with tight tolerances
Tools to follow for the production of series parts
Transfer tools for parts requiring several successive transformation steps
Reworking tools allowing additional operations such as stamping, bending, etc.
Swiss-type tools allowing the internal cutting and external trimming of a part to be carried out in a single operation
Thanks to our in-house maintenance capacity, we guarantee the reliability and longevity of our tools, thus ensuring stable and efficient production.

Overmolding
Overmolding is a technique which consists of making a mold on an already finished product.
Its manufacturing process involves molding one material onto another, generally to combine the properties of two materials or to improve functionality.
Fine cutting is particularly suitable for this process because it guarantees the sealing of the joint planes.
The advantages of overmolding are numerous:
Create assemblies without screws or glue
Improve ergonomics
Protect the room
